Thanks, Science… I became the first member of this team to be One COVID Vaxxed Nurse!

Today, 12-18-2020 at 1833, after a 12 hour ER shift, I received the greatest gift that anyone has ever given to me: the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine and I became the first member of this team to be One COVID Vaxxed Nurse!

To say that I was excited would be an understatement. I am so proud of the scientists worldwide who worked diligently to bring this relief to us. I look forward to (roughly) 50% immunity in 2 weeks, and my booster vaccine in 21 days that will bring me up to a full 95% immunity, 2 weeks after that. So far, the only side effect I have is……HOPE! HOPE, y’all!! ❤️ VACCINES SAVE LIVES!
